Last night (12/04/12) the very talented JoJo (Joanna Levesque) performed her first LA concert in ages at the Roxy Theatre in LA. And as you can probably guess, I was there.
You might remember her 2004 self titled debut album, her 2006 follow up album “The High Road,” or if you’ve ever seen “Aquamarine” she played Emma Robert’s best friend.
This evening, 10/29/12 was the world premiere of Disney’s Wreck It Ralph at the historic El Capitan theater in Hollywood.
I have never been to a real Hollywood premiere before, so I thought it might be fun to drop by and see who I can see.
Disney girls in attendance included Peyton List, Laura Marano, and Bella Thorne.
Stefanie Scott of A.N.T. Farm was there as well. She actually voices a character in the movie. 🙂
The film stars John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, and Jane Lynch. Hey look, speaking of Jane Lynch. 🙂
There were quite a few Disney guys too, including Cameron Boyce and Karan Brar from Jessie…
… Davis Cleveland from Shake it Up …
… and Lucas Gabriel from Switched at Birth and High School Musical. I got a high five from him. 🙂
For a major movie premiere, the whole thing seemed a bit low key. Bella came without Zendaya, Laura came without her sister Vanessa, and everyone from Jessie came except for Debby. But hey, it was still fun. 🙂
On Saturday September 22nd 2012, Jennette McCurdy went to see Cirque Du Soleil’s “Iris” at the Dolby Theatre in LA, and she invited her fans to join her…
Although I gotta say, Jennette certanly didn’t miss with her Alice in Wonderland Scarlett from Iris inspired outfit.
You see what I’m talking about there? 😉
In short, it was a fantastic evening and I hope you all enjoyed my little “tour” if you will of the day’s festivities. You can click here or on any of my watermarked inages above to see all of my orginal photos in the gallery. Clicking the twitter embeds above to do twitter stuff. xD You may also be interested in Alex’s post on JustJennette.com and in Brian’s post on McCurdian.com.
Extra, which is a Warner Bros. production, celebrated their 19th season with a party called “Extrapalooza.”
This event was held at The Grove LA on Monday 9/10/12 and featured several Disney stars.
Disney Channel’s Bridgit Mendler was there to perform her new single “Ready or Not.”
She also did a rare public meet and greet, and I was able to get a new autograph. 🙂
Also on hand earlier on the day was Olivia Holt from Disney XD’s Kickin’ It.
And she signed these really cool new Kickin’ It posters.
China Anne McClain from A.N.T. Farm was there as well.
She actually had both standard headshots and A.N.T. Farm posters to sign. I picked the headshot as you can see.
There were a number of other people there as well, including Rob Paulsen. He voiced Raphael in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and he now voices Donatello in the forthcoming Nick reboot of the franchise.
I also got to see Wayne Brady as he was interviewed by Maria Menounos.
Plus I got to see the great George Lopez briefly as they filmed the conclusion to the festivities with host Mario Lopez and the Grove’s owner Rick Caruso.
There are two separate image galleries linked from this post, one of Bridgit’s performance and one of everything else.
Last week was Paul Frank Fashion’s Night Out in LA.
They had even recruited celebrity hosts Debby Ryan and Zendaya for the event.
Even more important, they were nice enough to put me on the guest list.
They threw a really great party.
My candids didn’t come out very well, but you get the idea.
Disney girl Sammi Hanratty was there too, as you can see.
As was Nick’s Ashley Argota (but we already covered that on the Nick blog.)
Anyway, you can see the rest of my photos from the party in the gallery, just click on any picture above except Ashley’s picture. That picture links to her seperate set.
